Taoiseach to visit Roscommon-Galway constituency Sunday 2nd Feb

An Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar T.D will visit East Galway tomorrow (Sunday Feb 02). He will join Fine Gael election candidate for the Roscommon – Galway constituency, Cllr. Aisling Dolan to meet local groups.

The Taoiseach will visit the Shearwater Hotel in Ballinasloe where he will have the opportunity to meet constituents from Roscommon – Galway. It’s hoped he will also have a chance to meet members of Padraig Pearse’s GAA Club which recently won the Fahey Cup in the Roscommon Senior Football Championship.

“The Taoiseach’s visit to the Roscommon – Galway constituency during an historical week where our nearest neighbours have left the European Union, shows Fine Gael’s commitment to supporting rural communities. I’m delighted he will get to meet constituents on the ground and listen to what their concerns are and see the good work being carried out by voluntary groups in communities in East Galway and Roscommon,” says Cllr. Dolan
