SUSI Grants Maintenance grants increase by €200

Student Grants -SUSI 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓
Much-needed assistance to students and families across the country becomes a reality with my colleague Simon Harris TD Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science has today (Thursday, 10 March) signed regulations to increase student grants for the new academic year.
The changes, introduced will see:
➡️Maintenance grants increase by €200
➡️The income threshold for the standard rate of grant increase by €1,000
➡️The distance for the higher non-adjacent student grant will be reduced from 45km to 30km

Applying for student funding for 22/23 and your household income in 2021 was from self-employment 💼, farming 🚜 or rental 🏡?
Make sure to file your 2021 returns with Revenue in plenty of time. 📄💻

If you'll be continuing your studies in 2022/23, don't forget to apply once grant applications open. 💻
