Official campaign launch with MEP Maria Walsh - Friday, 24th of January

MEP for the Midlands - North -West constituency, Maria Walsh will officially launch the election campaign of Councillor Aisling Dolan this week.  The Fine Gael launch will take place at Gleeson's Townhouse Hotel in Roscommon town at 8p.m on Friday January 24th.  MEP Walsh is a great supporter of encouraging more women into politics, especially from rural constituencies. Both MEP Walsh and Cllr. Dolan are advocates of promoting good mental health and promoting 2022 as European Year of Mental health, encouraging small business and supporting farmers.  Councillor Dolan, who has been canvassing in recent weeks across the East Galway - Roscommon area, says she is delighted to have the MEP in attendance, "I'm thrilled to have Maria Walsh MEP launch my election campaign. She is a great example of the impact someone from a rural area, indeed a woman from a rural area, can have at the top levels of politics."  All are welcome to attend including children- family friendly event with light refreshments.
