Domestic Septic Grant increasing to €12,000 from January 2024

Good news awaits many homeowners dealing with failing #septic tanks, as they will soon become eligible for increased financial support for improvement works, with a maximum grant of €12,000, starting January 1st, 2024 an increase of 140% rising from the previous allocation of €5,000.
Of notable importance is the removal of the previous requirement, which mandated septic tanks to be registered with the local authority before February 1st, 2013. This change implies that a larger number of homeowners will gain access to these grants starting on January 1st.
These augmented grants can be applied to #repair, #upgrade, or #replace septic tanks that are no longer functioning effectively.
