Device Fund of €534,000 to benefit disadvantaged third level students at NUIG, GMIT & AIT

Great news this morning with news of €4,427,965 allocated to NUI Galway and Galway-Mayo IT, to support safety on campus, a device fund as well as investment in our colleges for additional student numbers!
A €534,000 Device Fund will benefit students in both NUI Galway and Galway-Mayo IT and it will mean no-one is being left behind.
Athlone IT is also set to receive €1.4 million which includes up to €130,000 for laptops for students in Athlone.
The funds will ensure laptops and devices for those who need them and that all students can reach their potential as they start in college! Students can contact the Student Access Offices to find out more.
