Close to half a million for East Galway to raise roads and avoid flooding. Announced by Minister Eamonn Ryan & Minister Hildegarde Naughton under Climate Adaptation Funds.

Close to half of all the funding of €1.1 million allocated to Co. Galway and we know that our Council is in dire need of these funds in areas which have been so impacted with flooded roads the last few years

€106,000 for to raise & resurface L7415 Lissegan in #Ahascragh

€110,000 to reduce flooding at Castlestreet and Gorteen Cross in #Dunmore

€65,000 resurfacing and new drain water collection on L3410 Liscune in #Ballymacward

€35,000 for Killine in #Newbridge & €40,000 for Tycooley in #Caltra

Funding for #Menlough, #Kilkerrin, #Glenamaddy and #Williamstown

All of this to make roads safer for everyone in our community... Autumn, Winter, Spring... all seasons.
