Great news! 10 Local Charities and local volunteer groups are set to receive over €100,000 from the COVID-19 Stability Fund!
After a tough 18 months these funds are a lifeline for our invaluable local charities and volunteer groups who find themselves in particular difficulty and have seen their trading and/or fundraising income drop significantly during the pandemic. Funding through Pobal announced by Minister Heather Humphreys under Dept of Rural & Community Development.
These funds will help 10 vitally important organisations to continue to positively impact so many people across the region as we all work towards a social and economic recovery from this pandemic.
Well done to Croi the West of Ireland Cardiac stroke Foundation who received €80,000 which will go a long way in supporting their activities.
