8 Galway Sports Clubs WIN Equipment Grants

Congratulations to the 8 Galway Sports Clubs who have won Equipment Grants from Sports Ireland!
Well done to everyone involved! Sports Ireland will be issuing notifications shortly to clubs who have applied for equipment only.
For clubs that have applied for capital and equipment grants results are expected later in the year. This is due to the high volume of applications that came through this year.
If you applied for building works as well as equipment then this is still under review.
I understand that funds are required for many projects and I will working with the Department on whether this process can be accelerated. Currently it is scheduled towards Q4 or December timeframe this year.
It is an extremely competitive process for clubs and sports organisations with a budget of ~€40 million allocated for this round.
The winners of this round are:
➡️Ballygar & Districts (Ballygar, Newbridge & Toghergar) Company LTD
➡️Caltra St. Cuans Ladies Gaelic Football Club
➡️Creggs National School
➡️Cumann Dún Mhór Mhil Éil / Dunmore MacHales GAA Club
➡️Dunmore RFC
➡️Tommy Larkins Gaa Club
➡️Woodford Sport and Recreational Development Group
➡️Sarsfields GAA Club
